Phil Collins has moved his wedding up four months because he wants his seriously ill mom to be able to see him walk down the aisle.
The 49-year-old pop star was set to wed Orianne Cevey, 26, in a gala ceremony in Switzerland in October. That was until June Collins, Phil's 85-year-old mother, had a heart attack while vacationing with her son and his fiancée.
The former Genesis drummer became so worried she might not live to see the nuptials that he's moved the wedding to mid-summer.
The move has June overjoyed.
"He told me I can look forward to a summer wedding." she told London's Sunday People newspaper.
"Orianne is a lovely girl and they are keen to start a family."
The marriage will be Collins' third and Cevey's first.
Collins has had more than 20 Top 10 hits, including "Against All Odds" and "You Can't Hurry Love."
