The singer made a generous donation through his Little Dreams Foundation to help a school. Phil Collins has donated 82'000 Euros to help rebuild the primary school of Kilifi in Kenya.
The singer's manager recently stayed there and was deeply shocked by the state of disrepair and desolate conditions in which the pupils study.
He said that Phil Collins was keen to play some charity gigs in Europe to further help the cause.
The funds raised will help to buy the schooling and building materials needed to refurbish the building.
The director of this primary school says that this donation will help their establishment to become one of the most modern in the region and added that in a few month the school will have modern teaching equipment.
"I hope that this will have positive repercussions on the pupil's results."
