Phil Collins was aided by a walking stick as he was spotted leaving rehearsals in Miami on Friday ahead of his Still Not Dead Yet Live! shows.

The music icon, 68, who has been left struggling to stand after multiple back surgeries, looked focused and in good spirits as he stepped out, days before the tour heads to Dallas, Texas.

The Easy Lover hitmaker showed his true strength of character as he continues to rehearse and delight his fans on tour despite his ongoing health woes. Phil cut a casual figure in a navy baseball cap paired with a matching polo shirt and black joggers as he stepped out.

The star will kick off the United States leg of his acclaimed tour on Monday, with a performance at the American Airlines Center. The tour is set to wrap on October 19 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.

While he is able to walk short journeys, Phil now performs from the comfort of a chair but is still able to put on an incredible show. Phil has been hard at work since he announced his comeback tour in October 2016 after coming out of retirement.

He had originally planned to kick off his return with five nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall with tickets for the shows selling out in 15 seconds. But following a fall on the way to the bathroom a year later, the British singer was forced to cancel the shows and reschedule them for that November.

A statement was released at the time, which read; ‘Phil suffers from "drop foot" as a result of a back operation which makes it difficult to walk.'

In June this year, Phil had a huge surprise in store for fans during a solo show in Berlin when he reunited with Genesis star Mike Rutherford. The pair, who had last shared a stage back in 2007 for a Genesis reunion tour, performed Follow You, Follow Me. Mike gave Phil a huge hug as he walked onstage and Collins said: 'I think we’ll have it one more time – Mr. Mike Rutherford!'

Erm..........What was / is the point of this posting? He's been openly (because he must) "aided by a stick" after his failed surgery for a few years now.
And Mike joined Phil on stage at 3 different gigs in 2019 - Berlin, Aarhus and Bergen.
