His right foot isn’t in tip-top shape, he’s coming off back surgery and he has a problem with a hand. But Phil Collins’ "In The Air Tonight" still packs some punch.
The veteran British singer, drummer and Hall of Famer (he was inducted in 2010 with his band Genesis) is on the comeback trail. He recently announced nine shows next June in London, Paris and Cologne, Germany, and he’s just released an autobiography and a new compilation, The Singles.
Collins was the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he wasted no time by performing his brooding early '80s hit "In the Air Tonight," with some help from The Roots. Nope, Collins didn't complete the classic drum fill, but he's hoping to get some work done behind the kit at next year’s shows.
