Peter Gabriel will bring his Back To Front tour to the UK next year. Gabriel is out on the road celebrating the 25th anniversary of his 'So' album, and has already played a series of dates in the US with former live touring mates Tony Levin, David Rhodes, David Sancious and Manu Katche.
"It felt strange and very familiar at the same time when we started," he has told the Las Vegas Review.
"It is strange the way relationships just carry on exactly the same way they were really, except maybe you hope you've mellowed and are a tiny bit wiser for having lived longer. But I wouldn't put a lot of money on it."
The UK leg will take in two nights at the London O2 Arena on October 21st and 22nd next year, followed by concerts in Glasgow and Manchester.
"I think when we played the album back we knew it was good," Gabriel comments on the 'So' album. "It wasn't like I was an obscure artist; I'd had hits with Shock The Monkey, Games Without Frontiers and Solsbury Hill but after each of them I'd purposefully retreated partially back into the shadows."
"With 'So' this was the end of the idea of me being a sort of cult artist at the fringes of the mainstream, especially in America. There wasn't an option to go and hide in the shadows any more."
The full Europe tour dates are as follows:
